    Holy Flashback batman, used to fly into Belize 10 yrs ago for a span of 2 years for a family. They would put us up at one of the resorts on San Pedro, so got to ride Tropic Air more times than I could count. Great videos and yes, their airfields are less than desirable.

    Nothing wrong with the National Guard. :oldglory:
    You build up time and you can get a job off shore.
    Back in 1975 I called PHI, Evergreen and ect.ect and I asked what do I need for you to hire me.
    Well you need 3000 hrs for insurance. My heart fell. Damn I flew C-152s several single fix wings.
    Back then it was $25 and up to $45 an hr. Enstrom F-28 for $60 an hr.
    Last I heard they are hiring young bucks with 750 hrs.

    I found HALF of a hawk in my T/R GB housing on pre-flight one morning in MCAS(H) Tustin. {CH-53A}
    Perfectly cut in half at the waist, the bottom half remaining was an empty shell (no innards) and not flattened out at all.

    Used to find owl shit out on the rotor blades that was so large it made me wonder how a German Shepperd got way out there on the blade.
    Called it "owl" because it had fur & bones in it. The owls roosted in the old blimp hangars there. Obviously had some hawks around too, although they may have been picked up away from the base (overnights in the mountains, maneuvers, combined arms exercises, etc.).

    Very cool! Last I heard, that figure was pretty close for the RTAG stuff. I saw a flier for LifeFlight a year ago looking for pilots with some # of hours, maybe 1000-2000, but a minimum of either 500 or 1000 NVG hours.

    And that pic is one of our AH-64E, it was taken last week at some point. My unit had some a/c out in Utah for a mission. We picked those a/c up brand new last summer.

    I still don’t get why the Army is letting the Guard get v6 E’s while active duty still flies aircraft from the 80s.

    No idea, NC just got theirs. You’d think AD would at least get V4s to replace the Ds, if not V6s.
