Surprised they didn’t cancel this… big football game between the two state colleges last weekend. The area is known for getting these inversions that leave the whole area choked with clouds. No one in the stadium saw these guys

I kinda figured that was going to happen after the 909 crash. Sad to hear but it was bound to happen sooner not later. They all had a good long life. Glad to hear they're focusing on a museum so there's still some way to share them with the public.

Will miss heading the occasional drone of those engines buzzing overhead though...

Did they discuss anything about the energy density of hydrogen? Cool stuff but I don't get it. No fueling infrastructure and heavy, large storage on the aircraft.

Ah, Hawthorne Airport! No, I don't believe they mentioned energy density.

Hydrogen packs a punch. Just very difficult to get there.

I was at that show last year. It's a damn good air show and had some really nice aircraft. The P-51 "Quicksilver" and two other Mustangs were there last year as well as the P-40N "American Dream", plus a bunch of other planes, including a C54 transport used during the Berlin Airlift.

It is huge, it's always fun to see them birth a 767 nose section out of it. Although there is so much room left inside of it with just that it almost seems like a waste of space.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
    https://nationalinterest.org/blog/b...-stealth-fighter-fly-aircraft-carriers-207731

Cool once they actually have some decent planes and more then one carrier, they can begin the long long long long long process of learning how to fly planes off of ships. Ships that aren't 500 miles from shore.

    Good luck China.

I actually love they are trying. Our domination in sea based warfare could use some innovative disruption.... long winded way of saying we have CV on lockdown. It will be interesting to see what our Navy does when China has 4 to 8 operational CVs

Are they going to go blue water with those ships? They clearly have the global infrastructure and sea based ports to support a blue water navy. But why would you build it? Will "ships" be relevant in 50 years? The battleships were retired, the cruisers are being retired, endless innovation
