I have a question for those of you guys that work in the airline industries. I am trying to get the most unfiltered answer I can about which airline to use. With recent bad taste in my mouth from being raped and left for dead by allegiant (I know wish I would have read this first) I need to choose between a couple flights to take myself, wife and ten month old daughter to visit my parents in Florida. My choices at this time include Southwest and Jet blue. Flying from Baltimore to Orlando. The Jet blue is $800 dollars more. So my question is..... is it worth the $800 bucks (almost double of Southwest) to fly Jet blue. Sorry for the long winded post. And thanks in advance for any advise.

Looks much calmer than it is here! Cool. I'm at the store right now but I'm going to try to make it out there. Skyvector shows 40min flight

I'd pick Southwest even if it were a few $$ more. BTW, I don't dislike JetBlue just trust LUV more because of history.

Oh, I will NOT put my family or myself on Allegiant.

I'm a believer in Southwest. I plan to end my career with them.

Allegiance is a good choice if you care more about saving money than you care about yourself.

Will do! I think I'm going to go get lost in the Bass Pro Shops so perhaps I'll run into her there.

Thank you. And I learned this after the fact. What happened may just save our lives.

Yeah.... The price isn't even that much different between them and Southwest. Difference was one fly's out of Harrisburg which is a 15min ride. The other I have to drive to Baltimore, MD. about an hour and half to two hour ride. With a ten month old and not knowing any better the closer ride seemed better. After dealing with their shitty customer service and doing some reading, I am kind of glad it happened. Chalk it up as an $800 lesson.

What do you do for UA? I'm a ex-United.

Allegiant reminds me of ValueJet before it bought AirTran.
