Your call, both have their advantages. Personally I'd save some money and get some Rustoleum primer and bed liner and go to town!

Line x is the way to go. Got mine done with a similar brand here in Edmonton called Armaguard. Had them done 6 months ago. Still looks brand new.

Yep line x works great. I originally used herculiner and it was horrible. Ended up stripping it off with my angle grinder and took them to line x. It was costly but well worth it.

Yeah usually people try to get meets going in the NoVA area but nobody commits. MD has had better luck at it. We had a meet over by the dulles expo center recently and had a good turnout. Mod days are harder cause everyone lives in condos and townhouses and crap and dont have room to host one.

DUDE, please post some pics of the line-x job if you go that route. I so want to do this with a set of Avids. It would look bitching! Some close up shots would be great as well as some on the truck.

Where did you end up getting them done? I went to Line X in Manassas. Very easy to work with, dropped them off at 8 or whatever time they opened, he was calling at noon saying they were done.

I had my powdered coated about a year ago and have no issues. Seems to be holding up just fine.

I had mine powder coated (flat black) and used the 3M tape Brandon sent. I was considering the local Line-X place but they are difficult to deal with and want and arm/leg for the service. The powder coat shop is friendly and affordable, and they do an unbelievable prep job. They are holding up well with over two years or use.

This is the photo of my steps (same photo is on the Avid website):

Here is a closer shot -- sorry for the crappy cell pic and dirty steps. Any imperfections you see are just dirt and road grime.
