I wouldn't call them sliders. Most would consider sliders for rock crawling and offroad but directly from their site "The bolt-on slider/steps are an alternative to the step bars. They are designed more for the people that like the looks of sliders but don't need the super strength of weld ons. We understand that some people don't want to weld to their frame or drill a bunch of holes in it to get strength that they don't need. There is no drilling or welding required to install our bolt on version. They simply bolt into the factory running board mounts. Because of the mounting location, these sliders are not intended to support the weight of the truck but can be used as steps, dent protection, and light off-roading." Other companies build their bolt on rock sliders so that they bolt to the frame.

With all due respect, who cares what you would call them. AVID Off Road the company who makes them calls them sliders, so that's how I listed them.

It matters. Rock sliders will support the weight of the truck, whereas step bars will support the weight of a person getting in and out of the truck. If someone buys the product thinking they're sliders and tries jacking up their truck by them...well, damage and injury is a best case scenario.

I'd buy email in a hot minute if it were local to me. I need more step than slider and these look nice. GLWS OP, nice deal.

Is it wrong to call a product by the name the manufacturer gives it? I get what you're saying but that's an argument for Avid misidentifying their stuff, not someone reselling an item. Buying truck parts second hand is always buyer beware, no warranty intended or implied, do your own research, ask plenty of questions because there aren't any refunds.
