First off. I believe in giving credit to great products and services as much as done people do in complaining about poor ones. Big shout out to avid-offroad and @2ndGenJonny. Great people, great communication, great product.

Installed my slider style steps. Thought i would share pics and thoughts.

Delivery was FAST. Four weeks from the day i ordered to the day they were at my door. Arizona to eatcoast of North Carolina. Product was well wrapped for shipping. Even still the Fed Ex man managed to put a couple of scraps on them. Not avids fault. Feel for the Fed Ex man. I probably would have scraped them up to if i had to unload them by myself. They are heavy!

Installation was a piece of cake with all the supplied hardware. Took an hour and a half to install by myself. Could have been done sooner but i am anal about things being straight. I did add a little blue loctite to the bolts for piece of mind. TIP 1: get one bolt started at the back first. Then you can pivot the front up. You can't do it the other way by yourself. TIP 2: get one bolt started but not tight in each bracket then look down the door panel to make sure they are straight. There is enough play in the holes you can put them on pretty crooked if you aren't looking. Don't ask me how i know.

Finished product sticks straight out from the frame. Doesn't reduce ground clearance at all. It may not be the product for you if you NEED a true step to get in your vehicle. Ends are all fully welded. No plastic caps. And they are true can length ending flush to the cab.
    Excuse the dirty pics.

Good info and they look good on your truck!

Do they come straight out, no upward angle?

    PS.
    GEAUX TIGERS!

    Nice avatar.
They call them flat but they do have a slight upward tilt. Probably not noticeable to most people. It's that slight.
    Let the good times roll.
