Hey fellas, just wanted to share a few pics of my avs bugdeflector II install. A lot of talk on these forms about it rubbing up against the grille shroud. Just wanted to put some minds at ease for those that were interested in purchasing. Keep in mind, this is the bugdeflector II not the regular Bugdeflector.

Do your self a favor and double check this area . put a small nick in my grill shroud .You cant see it I just put a dab of B7 Blue on it, It's plastic so no rust issue
Just trying to help out !! I could grind the point down but sent it back and still waiting on a refund. I will wait to see what Weather Tect. has to offer. I did put the window shields from AVS with no problem

surprised you didn't go the aeroskin instead? personally we just went with a paint protection film and skipped the vent visors this time.

    decided on the clean look.

Wax the front end of your truck once a month in the summer will keep the paint from getting messed up from bugs also.

Good thing you put the paint protector on your truck then so you can find 10 things you would rather do.

yeah I went with that since I usually try to head out fishing at 7-8am and don't start driving back until 9-10pm at night (sun sets late during the summer up here).

during the winter, hardly wash them since not to fond of cracking the wind shield due to temp variation between the glass and car wash water temp.

Hey Tom. Just got off the phone with a WeatherTech customer service rep. She told me 2 to 3 months yet on the bug deflector & side window vent visors. Bugs will surely be out by then here where I live. Think I'll just do without the bug shield.

    http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/Deflectors/AutoVentshade-Seamless-Window-Deflectors

Think I may order when it warms up, the "Seamless Vent Visors" I'll just throw the ones away for the back windows. No one sells them just for the access cab.

I was in Amazon, and accidentally clicked on this bug deflector. Down below it showed what people also purchased along with the big deflector. Metamucil, orange flavored. So weird.
