Hey guys, I just installed AVS in channels on my taco, while Installing them I noticed tape wasn't sticking very well, so I'm hoping with over 24 hours of windows rolled up they are stuck on well. That being said, are they durable enough to run through a BlueWave Carwash? Any tips would help, thanks!

Did you wipe down the inside of your channels with 91%+ alcohol?...let dry 5 mins?

Yes, I used the wipes and scotch pad they came with. I'm hoping when I check tomorrow they are nice and solid.

South Texas, probably around 70 when I installed them. I knew I should have waited. Ohh well, praying for the best.

Run a hair dryer over them to warm it up.

Oh great, now I’m a bit worried. I’ve been sitting on the same ones for a month now but I procrastinate like a mother fucker.

Actually that’s probably pretty good temp. You want that sticky 3M stuff warm and then overnight as temps cool it will harden a bit and grab more.

Update : I checked this morning they withstand a little tugging. I'm happy with them. Now to the other part of my question, will they hold up through an auto Carwash?

Had mine for two years, through numerous car washes and pressure washers with no problems. They still holding strong.

No touchless washes in your area?

I'd be very reluctant to let those nasty brushes on my new vehicle.
