We have the Weathertech on ours. Works good. No problems with windows rolling up after they seated into the channels. No clips to mess with is nice.

Weathertechs came on my 99 when I bought it in 2007 and are still holding up well.

I do wish the ones on our 2020 provided a bit more coverage like the earlier ones, but all in all these work well for us.

Haven't tried AVS so don't know about them.

Right, there are others. Most folks you'll see here, though, have either AVS or WeatherTech. I can't speak to the others since I've always had WeatherTechs on my vehicles. Function will generally be the same but I like the fact that the WTs come all the way down to the bottom of the window by the mirrors. It pushes the wind flow from that area of the window away from you. There are light differences in looks - you can see pictures of both on the forum.

Weird. Could be that was a bad set, or the fit is not as good on 2nd gen tacos.

I have AVS matte, low pro. Excellent quality and matches the existing rubber around windows perfectly. Had AVS on my previous truck with no issues. Just put a coat of wax once in a while to protect them.

Same here, super quiet, window closes perfectly. Must have installed them incorrectly.

I bought the AVS in-channel visors when I bought my truck. I never experienced any packaging issues and they have been flawless in 2 & ½ years.

For what it's worth, my wife's Impreza has Weathertech visors and the second rear window visor fell off a few weeks back. The first time they did send replacements free of charge. So they have top notch customer service.

    Likely.

I kept windows closed for a day or 2 after I installed to ensure it sticks to the inside properly to avoid said issues with window closing.

I installed AVS on mine a couple months ago. No packaging issues or issues after install.

Which AVS are these, not the low profile I assume? They look good. I was going to go with the low profile but I like this look.

They're the standard AVS in channel.

Thank you, now I have three different sets in my cart but I’m leaning toward these.
It appears that the low profile are tucked in closer to the window but that they extend down more than the standard model.

They are tucked in pretty close. I can barely get my fingers in there. I love how it looks though.
