Forgive me if this has been asked or already posted...

Curious as to what your thoughts are of these two brand name vent shades? Pros and Cons? And if you have them, did you get In-Channel or External mounts? And hell, if you have a better brand that you recommend, please let me know. Keep in mind, I live in Florida where the sun is brutal and when it rains, it pours!

I have a set of in channel Weathertechs on mine. Love them. Only problem was with the ones on the rear doors. They always seemed to work themselves loose so I ended taking them out. The ones on the front, I have had no issues with.

I have the Weathertech inchannel vents an I love them. Haven’t had any issues with them. First time using anything of the sort though so I don’t have anything to base it off.

I had the AVS ones for over a year now and zero complaints. My wife's car has had them for about 2 and same good product. I have the in channel in both, just make sure to clean the inside with alcohol so it can remove all the dust out of there.

Have had AVS in-channel since 2011 and love them.

Did have to replace one when a Moose ran into the side of my truck. :D

Definitely go with "in channel". I've had them on 3 diff. trucks now and they are the best.

I got the EGR matte black in channel ones on my Tacoma and they go amazingly with the OR's matte black fender flares and trim.

Nice, yeah those are slick! I have the AVS in-channel and have had them on for only a few weeks but they've been awesome. Super quick and easy install, affordable, and seem pretty durable so far.

Yeah, all my other trucks I had the AVS and never had a single complaint. I hadn't heard of the EGR until I was was looking after ordering this truck 3 months ago.

I saw these and the matte finish. I was thinking about this, cause it looks awesome but my concern is fading from the sun. I know, I know, picky picky but my truck is my true love and she has to look good all the time!!!

OP, I'm considering switching to the Well Visors. Both my brother in laws/sisters have Well visors on their vehicles and they look amazing. They mount externally via 3m tape/metal clips. My AVS in channels have been fantastic but I'll have to pull the front ones off to get the windows re-tinted and may switch over to the Well brand in the process. We'll see.

Fold a cover, Spacers, Scan Guage II, Weather Tech Vents, All weather floot mats, mod sideview towing mirrors, tow package, mod differential. LED back up lights, Flyzeye console/glove compartment lights, heavy duty farm seat covers, TSC bed mat.
I thought all in channel vents were the same. That was a hugh mistake. Ordered the AVS and was greatly disappointed. The rear windows would not close all the way becoming jammed going up when made contact with the vents. I sent them back and got the Weather-techs. The quality between the AVS and WTs is incredible. The AVS cannot hold a candle in comparison to the WTs. The WeatherTechs win hands down. Consequently, I have put them on my wife’s Honda Pilot and a gift for my son’s Explorer.

I never had problems with my AVS, which were all I used until now, but all my previous trucks were low end models with manual windows. I have heard that problem happened with power windows.

I can say the EGR's work perfectly on all windows in the 2 months i've had them on.
