Is the benefit of these, just so that you can open the windows a few inches during the rain?

That, and also, if you are like me and smoke, having the one open while driving and the vents on low, all smoke gets pulled out the window.

My buddy that bought my old truck was amazed it barely smelt of smoke in it and I attribute it to always having those on and the window opened a crack.

They are also nice to leave your windows open a crack on hot days and not have to worry about the weather changing and having your windows down.

I have weathertech in-channels...I keep harping on my door seal noises, but I’m starting to wonder if it’s these creating a little air path guide for outside noise to come in through. The windows are a little too tight when closed. They look great and clean, but I don’t really use them for venting in the cold. The labels aren’t UV or even weather compatible and look like crap now after 2 years- and they won’t come off easily. They also add about 2” of blind spot to the A-pillars, which adds a little delay to decision making when turning. They also add another detail spot to the vehicle for cleaning. May just take guards off.

They were $85, but I got them for free from an Amazon seller after complaining about their minor shipping damage, then being told to throw them away, and getting refunded.

I have Weather Tec and like them. As previously posted, the rear window ones do not stay in and will fall out. I added additional double sided foam tape which seems to have solved the problem. I had AVS on my FJ Cruiser and the warped/bowed inward and I replaced them with Weather Tec which have been much better and WT have retained there shape.

I had the stick on AVS on my 2002 for 13 years. No problem. No fading. I have the AVS in channel on my 2015. No problems.

i have AVS in channel, no problems, and recommend. Even on other cars that i had external, no problems. Always comes down to surface prep (if adhesive ones are used, i believe some clip in, Weathertechs maybe? I went with AVS because i always trusted the adhesive. I cleaned the upper tracks with alcohol well before installation, installed and left window up for a day or two. Warm weather/sun will help break in the initial tightness

Well Visors. I like it a lot. Low profile, reminds me of my jdm units for my 93 Civic Si.
