I want to go with avs rain guards the in channel ones and there still attached with 3m tape. Are everyone else's in channels like that? Or are there clips?

I just put in my EGR in channel ones a week ago. The front ones don't have tape and just snapped in. The rears do have tape though.

They stick inside the channel on the rubber, no big deal. still come off pretty easy

They just use the contour of the window to stay in place. They're really sturdy and I have no concerns about them. something I'd recommend for the rear is to get a couple alcohol swabs and clean the inside of the channel before you put the rears in. It'll give it a nice clean surface to adhere to.
