    Im not gonna lie that probably sounds tooo nice. Alpine type-r is such a good sub, with one hell of a box too.

    Thanks. It's an ok sub. The SQ is great on it but it just doesn't bang like I am used too. However sounds good still.

    Quick question! My sub box fills the whole area behind the seat... Can I cut it down in length and just reseal and carpet and be ok? The eventual cage will go thru the corners...

    Yes you can cut it down and make sure its sealed nice and tight.

    A few things to think about before you do that.

    1. Cutting it down will affect airspace. Make sure you're still in spec of what the sub requires. You will be loosing total airspace.

    2. If you are ported, your port will be incorrect and will sound very off. You'll need to re-tune the port to match the current airspace in the box.

    If its ported you'll want to measure it out.. Send me the following specs and then how much you are wanting to chop out of it, I can figure out port.

    Length, Width, Height, Current port diameter and length.

    If the box has an angle I need Top depth and bottom depth..

    So example, my box is:

    L= 36
    TopDepth= 3.5
    BottomDepth= 8
    Height = 18.5
    Port Dia = 3
    Port Length = 6.77

    Got new shocks on all 4 corners. 5100's and I set the front to preload 1.25 to help level out the truck after I got the TSB done.

    New tires, Cooper ATP's, from Discount Tire. Great tires so far.

    Rebuilding the headlights here shortly.

    One of my projectors got damaged when I was wheeling. I have all the parts and I'm just swapping in new projectors. Mini DS2 from TRS.

    You got free time this weekend? I feel bad I've been holding on to Jason's spares for a long time now. Need to just get it done already and since the weather has been decent.

    Also:

    Installing OME 885x's up front with a trim pack. OME 9000 shocks all around. Maybe an Icon real leaf pack if needed.

    CB antenna spring came in. And head lights are being rebuilt as we speak. Busy week for the old truck.

    Now maybe I should actually wash and wax it....
