I’ve noticed an odd smell in my ‘18 Tacoma crew cab TRD OFFROAD ever time I get in it. It smells like someone drained a bottle of nail polish remove in it. ODD RIGHT?! My wife and two teenage step daughters didn’t spill anything and the truck is clean. The oldest daughter does use the truck every day and said she now notices the smell now.

You got a bunch of women riding around in your truck and it now smells like nail polish remover? Me thinks someone is not being truthful here!

This. And if it is, it can be pretty damaging stuff. Only other actual truck related source of that smell I’d think of is perhaps a refrigerant leak?

Who does the car wash? Sometimes car wash places can use some wild chemicals.

“Awkward smell” sounds like someone farted in an elevator

I doubt it’s acetone, because it evaporates quickly and goes bye bye, but the smell is distinctive. Go with what your nose is telling you.

Doesn't sound like you'll be able to get that smell out. Better mask it with a few puffs of this...

I'm with this one. I as well have three girls and they will all be the first to say they didn't do it. Just my thoughts

First lesson...THREE women...install a cam facing inward for future who knows what. OR, just don't let them drive your Taco.
AND don't let them wash your camo with their clothes either, for obvious reasons.

    Work in progress...
PVC primer can is tipped over. Just yesterday I bought a primer glue combo set at Home Depot. I had it in a bag with all the PVC connectors I got. Well it never occurred to me that the primer would seep out if the can wasn't upright. I always carried that stuff in the tool box in the bed of my work truck. Anyways, sounds like what I was smelling.

I agree with everyone else, but there are some upholstery spot cleaners that are overwhelming.
