For those that are running awnings on their trucks please post up any photos, brands and how you are mounting them. Looking to get one for the upcoming camping season. Anyone?

If you check out the Expedition Portal forums you'll find a bunch of people with Fiamma Pro 35 or ARB awnings with a variety of mounting methods.

3 inch lift with Toytec Boss and All Pro UCA's up front. AP expedition leafs with Bilstien 5100 shocks in the back. 255/85/16 Cooper S/T Max tires. All Pro skids, rear bumper and sliders, Hidden winch mount with XRC 8000 winch. Dual Optima batteries with IBS combiner/isolator and solar. CMC. Auto sliding rear window mod, hidden CB, CVJ axles and plenty of other little mods.
Only a short rack on my DCSB, so a 50 inch ARB works just fine.

I have a Fiamma 35 Pro mounted to a Kargo Master roof rack that came with the snugpro cap. I had to mod it for the cvt. I mounted the awning with a couple of Fourtreks modular clamps. Works great.

I have the short 4' arb on my roof rack to go next to my tepui RTT on my bedrack. I mounted it with some L-brackets and tiny ubolts from the hardware store.

I just ordered a Shady Boy awning with the silver reflective fabric. It's 15 lbs and only 50" long so I can mount it to my Front Runner Rack which is 48" long, just have to figure out spacing so it doesn't interfere with my RTT.

it setups up quick and gives a 10 foot by 6 foot awning.

Pictures of how I attached my awning for less than $3. Its on there solid too. Moves the whole truck if I try to shake it.

Yep did some research and found arb brackets that were plastic for over 30 bucks plus shipping and I was like I can do better for less. Two half inch sheet metal screws. Two big L brakets for a $1 each and two small ubolts for a few cents

Yeah that's nice. I was to get an awning but need to figure out how to mount it to the stock roof rack.

Anyone have a good option for mounting one to a baja utility rack? Over $100 for their mount is ridiculous.
