nocars I thought a lot of people on your post were putting good effort into trying to help you decide that for your situation you might be best to go forward with the trade for the '08. Friendly question now, just curious what swayed you to go ahead and keep the '09?

I call "horsecrap" on this. I know this sounds 3rd grade like but....Scan the "order" sheet so we can see what you ordered. I know you have nothing to prove and we should be on our way but the thought of seeing something would make my day. Make sure you blank out your address. I'd hate for some "pissy" Toyota owner to show up one dark and scary evening and steal your Escape.

LOL 3rd grade. This Ford dealer has 08 and 09 escape hybrids. I already put a deposit on it this morning. Tell you what, when I go pick it up tommorow, I'll show you the buyer's order, the receipt, and I'll even buy a digital camera this time and show pics! Then I'll request that you eat that horsecrap. LOL just kidding. but seriously....

 

to see the deposit receipt with dealership letterhead and date would be sufficient. then we can put this thread to sleep since your now gonna be happy.

Wow up to 13 people viewing this thread here lately. Got some attention there nocars. Too bad they get to the bottom and realize everything has been taken care of and there help is not needed. btw congrats on your hybrid, did you get much on the '09 Taco in trade?

1. I'm a Ford guy thinking about buying a Tacoma
2. Well, the Toyota dealer sucks so I bought a Ford
3. Toyota offered me free service for life, so I brought back the Ford and bought a Toyota
4. I got crappy gas mileage on my first tank of gas in my Tacoma... only 400 miles, I'm taking it back and getting an Escape Hybrid
5. I decided that I don't want an access cab, but I found a good deal on an '08 Tacoma so I'm trading in my '09 for it.
6. Someone on Tacoma world made fun of me, so now I'm getting an Escpae Hybrid.

No offense dude, but you're as fickle as a teenage girl trying to decide what dress to wear to prom. Seeing as how we've never seen pictures of ANY of these vehicles, I'm starting to think that you're just trolling here for fun.

short story: I own my first Toyota. And I like it. I don't like it's MPG though. Wanted to give it a shot still. Found an '08 Tacoma for a 32% discount. Decided this morning to go for hybrid. Sticking with 09 Tacoma to drive to work. going to give to my 12-yr old daughter when she turns 17 cause she likes it.

I hate some of the members on this forum - they help me scorn Toyota even more. I like and thank only the helpful members though.

Wow, wow, wow TacoCo! Believe what you want to believe but the 6th item is inacurrate. I decided not to go for the 08 Tacoma but me and wife talked it over this morning and she want the hybrid. So instead of trading access cab for double, we just getting hybrid. I'm keeping my access cab I still like it! Also I don't own a digital camera.

But screw this I'm done defending myself from 5-yr olds. LOL
