If you were my child you would not be allowed to drive for at least 6 months and you had EARNED the RIGHT to drive again. I don't care who's paying for the truck you would not be driving it.

You have showed by your actions that you cannot be trusted to follow the rules of the road / and for your restricted license.

    Hope you learned your lesson.

Hire a good, established lawyer with an office near the courthouse. It'll cost you about the same as you'd pay to the courts if you're convicted of all offenses but you have a better chance of keeping your license.

Near the courthouse and established as the lawyer will more likely know the judge and prosecutor personally. You're still putting money into the system but will get more out of it.

Just curious, did he clock you at 110mph or 80mph? Unless he clocked you (radar, pacing, etc.) how can he prove you were doing anything other that what he wittnesses? Also look into it, in some states a cop can not use radar on opposing traffic, they have to turn around and then clock you.

Not saying your actions are defensible, and if you were my kid you'd be walking for a very long time. It just might save you from some of the financial sting. But I bet your court date will result in a 2 year suspension...

    I heard huffyworld.com is a good forum...

personally...for him...i dont think this is a good option at all

i think he should have to deal with his consequences as they are...so be it if he loses his license...

its pretty obvious he's not responsible enough yet to be driving a vehicle

I'm certainly not defending his actions. Just providing some advice based on first-hand experience in a few court systems.

My personal favorite: I was handed 3 tickets regarding DUI in Elkton, MD for drinking at a camp site. Cops did a random sweep through the area and I happened to have my car keys in my pocket. They said it displayed "intent to drive" and that was enough to bring me in for a breathalyzer and charge me. No belligerence on my part through any of it because, seriously, what could I do? I quietly sat through the whole process. The officers asked me 4 times if I was military, which I thought was interesting.

It cost me thousands between court fees, fines, and the lawyer, but it was worth it, corrupt revenue-generating schemes aside. I was handed 15 months of "probation before judgment". What a surprise -- I didn't screw up during that time. In the end nothing showed up on my record.

i didnt drive after the hours i was supposed to

    ever

    seriously

its not just getting 1 ticket

its the having absolutely no regard for the law...he racked up 5 tickets...at least 3 of which are major safety issues that a person who hasnt been driving for very long probably cannot handle.

a bunch of teenagers in the car is a distraction. period. he's out running around late at night with a truck full of kids, tinted windows, and he's driving in a reckless manner

this is a recipe for a disaster

he should have his license suspended until he can be responsible enough to operate a vehicle

Um...I don't speed, I don't have my front windshield tinted, I never was on a restricted license. He openly admitted to doing over 100mph and several other infractions...

A little mistake would have been doing 80 in a 65...this is ridiculous and, there is little or no regard for safety or peoples lives.

Not to sound like a dick but you don't seem to be very bright. I don't think the "prayers and support" forum was meant as a way to support a new driver who got caught acting stupid. Can't tell you how many MVAs I've been on at work with fatalities ranging from little kids to people that could be your great grandparents. Learn from this and be grateful that you got pulled over before you possibly killed yourself and your friends, let alone anyone else.

HAHAHA I didn't even realize this was in prayers and support. I will pray that his license gets revoked for reckless behavior, and then support the judge's decision when he revokes it.
