doesnt look like much has leaked yet. pull the wheel/drum off and check where your leak is. when my axle seal went it leaked out around the drum from the outside as well as others ive seen. If bearing still feels good i would just replace the seal. Its a pretty easy job to do. replace the brake shoes if the oil has soaked into them.

4 nuts on back of drum, park brake, and brake line have to be removed. everything should slide out and youl end up with this. E013BF56-D844-4C88-A88B-862D83621D4A_zps_ef875fdf125093f05a0159bb9bdfe4fe94b31e19.jpg

note the o ring on end of axle and seal a couple inches inside

Dont forget to make sure your diff breather can move freely. If not youre gonna end up with the same thing again.

Matt, you are right to suspect bearings..on most trucks. Toyota though is known for seal failure on the first gen Tacomas. Changing the seals is a quick job and about $6 for the seal from any Toyota dealer so you may want to do that first and see if leak stops. The leak picture you posted is typical of what I have dealt with when seals failed (on both first gens my family has owned).
