so I have some pretty good vibrations between like 25-30 mph after doing a 3 inch lift kit. vibrations are in gas pedal, floor, cab. I have switched my driveshaft front to back, but i have the TSB AAL's in the back, plus blocks in the back. so in total i got like an inch more lift in the back than the front. i noticed that when i loaded the bed up with tires last night, the vibrations were gone and the truck rode alot smoother in general. i also do not have a front diff drop kit, but cv angles dont look bad, and im not getting any noise from the front or anything. i ordered some 4 degree axle shims, do you guys think this will help or do i need to spend the 150 bucks to have my driveshaft lengthened at a metalsmith shop? anyone else with a reg cab get vibes after a 3" lift? let me know!

so how did the 4 degree shims work? i have an 11 reg cab, i lifted it and had the same problem, tried custom driveshaft, 3* shims,no luck. Its just axle wrap, i think the only way to fight it is a whole new leaf pack, i ended up getting the tsb from toyota and it gave me about an inch and a half. let me know how the 4* shims work eh! good luck

I found 4 degree shims too fat.

See bjmoose installs OME link in my sig for how I measured for and installed rear axle shims on my reg cab.

the 4* shims i think are too fat, i have a set of 2* shims that im going to put in backwards and see how that works out - advice given from moose. he said thats what yielded the best result for him.
