After reading many threads on axle wrap, I decided to attempt the DIY fix.
I purchased some drilled out steel plates and hardware, to make some clamps. I was unable to find any flat u-bolts locally, so I went with this method. I placed my homemade clamps around 5" in front of the axle.
The issue is mostly solved, but I can still feel some movement though the drivetrain. Has anyone attempted to place clamps behind the axle as well?
It seems like it would help. But not really knowing the physics of the process, I am unsure if it would just be a waste of time and money.
    Any input is appreciated.
