I have 7 boxes of .40 S&W ammo 135 grain JHP 350 rounds. I no longer own a 40. I would like to trade for same round count of .357 mag or .38 special. I'm in Yuma.
    Thanks

I am in no hurry. I had a ruger 10-22 and a MK2 and loved them. that would be my first choice.

Got a buddy that is selling 2K rounds of 762x39. Steel case Russian stuff. He is asking 1100 for it all or 600 a case of 1K. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I completely agree. The interwebs suck you in on the $/rd, but screw you on the shipping dry with a sandpaper finish. So, I slowing collect when its available

"But it's made out of all commonly available components like 5.56 brass and 7.62 bullets!"

.300 BLK is a great idea in theory but the reality is it's never going to be commercially competitively priced compared to other more mundane calibers, and especially so when there's a crunch on those common calibers.

Well yeah, it's made out of commonplace stuff but what to manufacturers do when they get that commonplace stuff? They make the respective calibers out of it- doubly so when there's an industry-wide crunch.

Think of it this way, what would posses you to get a big ass shipment of 5.56 brass and then send it off for processing/necking/trimming to convert it to .300blk versus throwing it into the 5.56 production line, when you're guaranteed to sell out of 5.56 in half a second anyways?

Don't get me wrong, I love my .300 blk upper and I enjoy the hell out of the caliber, especially suppressed, but it's just not ever going to be at that "cheap to shoot" price level.
