You sure there isn't a 43X hiding in there somewhere? They're pretty small, maybe you should double check.

Has anyone had experience with the Kimber Micro 9? I’ve been On the hunt for a new summer carry gun for a while now but I’ve come up short on my picks.
Historically I carry a Taurus 85 5 shot .38 revolver in a Bianchi 57 holster. By far my most discreet carry setup over the years, and that is my biggest barrier to consistent carry. I’ve gotten to the point where I am a bit too uncomfortable with the low round count and no reload setup though, and if I’m honest I am far more proficient with my 1911 or g19 than I am with the Taurus. Follow up shots are abysmal with the revolver.

I have tried a couple glocks, but the 19 is too big and a 27 is too short gripped and snappy (and bulky), and I really dislike the look of polymer anything.

I carry a 1911 during the hunt season and am more proficient with that than anything I own (except the g19).
I fiddled with a micro 9 at bass pro yesterday and got the tingles, but I don’t know, it’s not a 1911 internally so i tried not to get my hopes up too much. Capacity is 6 +1, and it felt good in the hand, but what I really want is a good platform for timely follow up rounds and I wondered if it is too small for its own good.

I have an STI Elektra and it's meh at best. I think if you are willing to run a single stack that small check out the Sig P365/X/XL I have heard a lot of good things.

365 is technically a double stack.. just their narrow design.

I know a lot of people that carry a 365 and love it. I carry a 320, as the 365 is too small for me.

I almost bought one of these, but I felt the grip was too small for me. I ended up with a Springfield EMP 4, and found it to be super accurate, very comfortable in my hand, and easy to carry concealed. Also it's a 10 +1 which is another reason I went with the EMP.

I carry a 320 x compact. Not much bigger than my grandpa and uncles 365's.. I do like their 365s tho..
