I'm looking at a Havok Kydex right now for my newly acquired P365 I bought today as well.. I'm a little limited just due to the custom parts/ specific configuration on the gun.. but prior to them, for my other handguns, I've used T5 Custom Kydex(which is now JX Tactical) and Multiholsters Kydex. I still use the T5 with my P320 EDC.. but will be retiring it from that duty once the new hotness P365 arrives..

Also.. @bad_guac I'm looking at the tlr7a now for the new 365 and the appropriate light bearing holster to go with it. The Havok one I'm interested in has a cool new clip style vs my FOMI clip I have now.. which will be better for the days in shorts/no belt. Also trying to match my wallet with the Kydex/print. Lol

@XPOTRPR the metal loop/clip style? If that's what you're talking about they're pretty awesome about as good as you'll get outside of what the phlster enigma offers. Have you seen the new optics holosun announced for SHOT? Also heard that the cloud defense pistol mounted light is something other than vaporware via someone who works for them.

Yeah I believe that's them. Excited to try them out. I've always had the FOMI for simplicity sake. And I have not.. I did hear about the Cloud pistol light tho. Funny, I was actually trying to find a Cloud OWL over the weekend.. eBay is about it these days. Maybe get lucky at a gun show.

OK ... not completely stupid question but perhaps a bit less-informed. I have a G45, non-MOS. Has worked well, but CommuFornia thinks the 17-rd magazine makes me a terrorist. The AmeriGlo night-iron-sights still glowing 3 years on. Mostly shoot just to be able hit the target on the broadside of the barn ... just kidding, I am pretty good.

G43X only has left slide release instead of dual-sided slide release. I shoot leftie ... just feels more like a part-of-my-arm with left than shooting right.

G45 is called "compact", G43x called sub-compact but both are about the same size.

Is the left-only slide release too limiting for IWB or outside for a leftie?

Also... is that "discount" a special thing or a part of the sale? Scheels Chandler Fashion has them for $489 if you need a special membership at TT.

The 43/43x/48 are 'slim' guns, narrower slide and grip module. The 43x is roughly the same height grip module as the glock 19 but shorter slide/barrel length and is narrower. The 48 is roughly the same silhouette as the 19, (slide length/grip height) but is narrower. The 43x and 48 take the same mags. The 43 is a bastard and has its own mag design.

You CAN take a 43 slide and put it on a 48 frame/grip and vice versa (48 slide on a 43 frame) and it WILL operate. At least mine do...

Re-read you comment and I have more to add...
The 45 I believe is a g19 sized slide with a g17 grip/frame, could be wrong... Still the standard glock thickness.

As far as the slide stop, not sure if there's been any aftermarket developments for an ambi. Beyond that I'm not sure what you're asking about as far as it being 'limiting.' You could definitely train/practice your way around it as far as manual of arms etc. Being right hand dominant I don't practice using the slide stop in dynamic situations.

I am a leftie. The 43x was perfect in my hand. The mag release can be switched to other side. i was able to release the slide with my trigger finger no problem.

Discount is not special, anyone that can walk in and buy a gun gets the discount. They had 4 or 5 different 43X models. MOS, Non MOS, all black and coyote colored lower with black slide and something else too.

Got the Shield Arms S15 metal mags and metal mag catch installed on the 43x today. Pretty fuckin slick fitting 15+1 rounds into this tiny gun. Also got a Bravo Concealment IWB holster. Wore it around for a couple hours running errands today. Still gotta find the right position and configuration to be comfortable. Whats cool is it pops right onto the cup holder in the door of the taco.

Going to get a G47, but could be open to cash + a red dot depending on what it is.

Gotcha, I don't have one of those. Trying to sell my BRN-180 pistol and I might part with one on my 1911's.
