    Know how to get a magneto off without one of those damn special tools??? Anyone?

    Also if I want to drop my forks can I just Chop the stanchions at the bottom? Seems like it would work in theory

    Rent a flywheel puller from autozone. And why cant you just move the forks down in the clamps? Sorry not sure what kind of bike your talking about

    i offered to install said big box of parts, in the very shop pictured in my above post lol

    i worked on two customer cars today and played with my own stuff.
    tomorrow i should be able to mount the new body work,and finish a few small things on the bike.


    and yes,joys of tearing it down is fun,as i installing it all... paying for all the parts is a diff story....:(
    hey if your wifes interested,have her like the revdays page on fb,..... its a new trackday org that will be doing inde and a few tracks down here...
    ill be one of the rider coaches for that org. also.

    this bike isnt exactly street legal.... and on the freeway it would be screaming... but itll smoke any 1000 til just shy of the quarter mile mark...
    its got really nice ohlins on it tho..

    and i dont get what u mean about the forks.
    are u trying make it turn in faster,or be more stable at higher speeds?
