Looking for a cheap 10" 150w rms sub. Mine is toast. Just looking for a cheap temporary replacement. Nothing too crazy. Needs to fit in a truck box. For reference mine is a P1.. looking to not spend more than 40-50 bucks. I can go grab another new one for that price but would rather snag on from a TW member.

That won't matter much. .5ft won't make or break you.

True. Im just saying that since the type s required an optimal .54.. so .55 is pretty damn close. Lol

I love going up to seven springs, its about 30 minutes offroad driving north of Cave Creek, close to where I live... Dirtroads, mud holes, trails. Just the works... Last year there was some snow there too

thats my favorite place to go, but there are alot of dirtroads and smaller mud holes around where I live as well though.

Alpine (and most sub manufactures) tend to lie about optimal space. Alpine is known for it.

I got a to speak to an Alpine engineer when I got that Type-R.. Optimal space sealed says .60ft which is what I built my box to. After polyfoam it thinks its at .80ft and it sounds much better.

After talking to the guy at Alpine, he giggled and said "1.0ft is the way to go sealed on this, we say .60ft so its more tantalizing to the public to fit a 12 in a small space."

Type S i'd be will be around .80-1.0ft in a sealed box.
