Yeah he's moving the breather up so it doesn't get submerged in water and possibly suck in water or blow oil out your seals.

If you drive directly into water that submerges the axle with a hot diff and open breather, there's a high possibility of getting water into the diff where it does what water does to metal. Plus it gives me an excuse to work on the truck instead of mowing the lawn.

 

I guess I'll just work on my leaf spring/shock mod...

 

Exactly, if you just replace with another one way its still going to suck water if you submerge because the one way still wont let air in, doesnt matter where the one way is, its one way. Now if you replace it with a small filter it can actually breath. At least thats what I would think

I have monies but I am just not sure if its worth it or to just get new coilovers and wait on some other mods.

 

I say coilovers....

 

Thats kind of what I am thinking but it would be a good cheap fix for now. I would just like to correct my leaning front end until I can find a good deal on some better coilovers.

 

I would save up to get it done right.

 

Well I have the 885's and the 5100's and they have worked so far. I do plan on getting better coil overs soon but for now it seems like a cheap way to remedy it. I do agree though. They have worked but I am ready for something new.

 

front fenders are fitted. Now I gotta take em off and paint em. Who wants to build me a front bumper.
