Yeah I guess. I know the icons can come with springs of two different lengths

 

I don't get why people go through all the hassle to get CO's when they end up preloading the shit out of them. I would recommend a 600 or 650# spring in an appropriate length. Much MUCH more travel and articulation, plus less preload so less cranking and a better ride. I will be doing this. Longer springs are better than preload. Easy to get too

 

That's what I am trying to do. I don't want the preload but I want 3" of lift. I need longer springs because icon uses a shorter spring. I am gonna go 14" 700lb springs.

 

Same here.. I'm just having one of those days on top of it.

Went to pick up the tires for my trailer. They ordered the wrong size and may not be able to get me the tires before track day. Ah good ol' Discount.

Did the oil change on my truck and when the oil came out and my oil pan didn't catch it fast enough and oil went everywhere.

Then I went to clean the seat covers I bought off a TW member and its missing one of the head rests for the front seats (could of cared less if it was missing them for the back headrests). Checked the pic's I got from him and it's not showing in there either. There was no mention it wasn't a complete set so I'm hoping its still at his place. Either way not going to clean all these if it isn't a full set. Now I'm on the phone with Wet Okole trying to find out how much a head rest cover is that matches.

Then one of my camera's is rebooting at random. Been trying to get an RMA for the last hour via chat.

Pretty much ready to call it a day. Nothing is going right for me today. Was going to install my new receiver tonight but at this rate I think I'll pass. Odds are I'll end up catching my house on fire or something.

Edit: Wet Okole is fucking worthless. I can't order a replacement head rest cover. I can order 2, only if they can pull up my name in the system. WTF?

 

You lose down travel when you lift your vehicle. My over all travel won't change with stiffer springs. Plus it would be a bitch to put 16" spring on my CO's

 

Are you talking about OEM covers? or aftermarket?

 

Wet Okole. the bitch on the phone was a total **** too. I was going to have my parents get a set of these for their taco's but not anymore. Fuck that company.

She was a total raging bitch on the phone. Her manager wasn't any better. When she said "Why do you think we would sell replacement parts that's just stupid" I pretty much was ready to snap. I told them both to go suck on a bowl of dicks at the end of the call.. That was one of the worst customer support experiences I've ever had and I was very friendly until the very end.

Bad customer support = not getting any of my cash.

 

700's with only 5 threads showing, rides great and is plenty of lift!

Yep unless they can pull your name up in their system they will not so your replacement parts. I don't get what the reason is behind that but they're fucking worthless stupid ass company.

King uses King, people suggest them because they offer more spring rates and cost less
