    This is the first time I've had to deal with this type of weather. I'm freezing and I got long socks, long underwear, regular underwear, undershirt, long sleeve shirt, leather jacket and it's still not enough.

    All about layers, leather aint that hot in the cold, you want a thick jacket for the kind of cold you are dealing with. Double the socks, wear a hoody with the shirts, and yes a scarf is tolerated in those conditions.
