You shut your mouth, the adult's are talking
2800<4000  If the argument is purely on a crawling stance then whey would you want to be riding so close to your limit as you will run out of overall speed. Nice thing about having all the torque at a lower range means you can drop it in third or fourth and begin crawling without the need of changing gears mid crawl.

This also means that to use the obtainable power you will need to approach with speed or ride the clutch. Which neither are an option you want to employ when crawling.

Makes no sense when the 4.0 obtains relatively close numbers, made more sense when the 3.4 was in the market but then the introduced the dual VVT-i 4.0. The spec'd 4.0 in china produces 330horse 290ish torque at lower RPM's.
Lots of wiring, disposable income, and know how. There have been two or three on XRU that have done it. I'm not a fan, everybody goes the LS route in everything these days and I don't trust anything with a bow-tie on it anymore.

Hey guys, I'm in Tucson and I've been lurking in this thread for a while and you guys seem pretty far out there but in a not too bad way.

So I have a question... Have you guys actually owned diesel vehicles before?

First car was an 85 Merc 300TD 4dr, I have worked on them for years, and have had multiples within the family when my old man rebuilt cars for side cash.

I loved my uncle's 7.2 powerstroke twin turbo diesel. You guys might see it cruising around Phoenix. Lol

He's also got my 2000 Jaguar XJ8 4.0L V8. That thing didn't need a turbo. Much fast. Very thirst. So premium fuel. Wow. Such wallet. Many empty.

Welcome to BS threadz, we are not for anybody who is lacking in a spine or a sense of humor. To answer your question I had a Ford f250 in the family for a little over a year before it was traded in.

It was for me. I sold it to my uncle in 2010 when I bought my 4Runner. I had no issue for a while, and he's been driving it problem free every day for 4 years. All he did was add window tint because Arizona. It used to have clear glass lol

    And lolno. Nawp

Power Strokes are an impressive motor, will take it over a Duramax. But if I had my choice I'll go with a Cummings or a freight-liner every time.

Oooo but I have lurked on your post for awhile and have come to the conclusion that you have much to learn. Now get back under my desk, this cack aint gonna suck itself:cool:

I think I would rather drink a gallon of gas than suck your dick under a desk. Next thing I know, you stain my dress, the press is like WUT??? A cigar gets involved.... And you get impeached.

See how I stayed in character, baby ;)

I see what you did there, and I liked it.

Sounds like you installed the flux capacitor wrong, I'm still working on the diesel conversion mod.
