I have a Chinese 40" and it's BRIGHT!!!!!

 

Mine isnt chinese but i would definitely get rigids if i could

 

Rigid is expensive, others are not. Rigid will outperform any company in ruggedness and lumen output etc but you have to ask if the cost is worth it? Normally it isn't. Thanks to Chas of MRT I got my duallys for 149$ shipped. Can't beat that, and only slightly more expensive than other pods and this either pods don't touch the lumen output of rigids. Like I said though, depends on the price. I used my blitz pros for a while and they worked but they wee cheap and broke easy. I could replace them 3 times almost for the price of rigids.

 

If Jamie ends up having to buy 2 more of that same bar for the same price because they go bad for whatever reason he will still have spent less than 1 rigid bar.. At least at retail. Not sure what the TW prices are.

I found my 30" on craigslist. No idea what brand or anything but it is bright enough for me and I got for $150 and a sub box I had that was worth around $50. Also gave me the switch and replay he had for it.

Doesn't matter where it's made. Almost all electrical parts are made out of country or are made from materials from out of country.

 

You can put those hid's on a linear actuator and raise them with a button from inside the cab and still be half the cost

yeah, scholarship cut my funding@school until i make up couple classes. so i got a job to pay for it. but i just keep throwing the money into my truck instead. lolz.

 

The instant on/off actually comes in handy more than you think you are driving down a road be it dirt or pavement and there is no light. you cant see shit you turn them on oh wait theres a car coming turn them off then car passes you turn them back on. Hid's are not meant to be turned on and off all the time they require that warm up time.

Truck was built awhile ago by Kyle Green Fab in AJ for a buddy of his. Fiberglass is Glassworks

 

I have good headlights and fogs and I use mine all the time when i drive if i go through bush highway i use them. when i drove from here to cali with pat to get the fiberglass they worked great ask him Im just saying ask someone like alex who has hids and he would trade for instant on/off any day
