It stalled out on Tiff yesterday. On the freeway it runs amazing, but if you are under 50% throttle around 4k it bogs like shit and can stall out apparently. Going to adjust the jets again and see how it reacts.

I'd also like to say that this is my second favorite time of the year. Why?

    Corned beef and cabbage time!!!!!!!!

    Edit:

Thanks, I think I know why it is doing it but I don't have the EPA tool to make the adjustments I need. But going to try another route first just to make sure it is setup right.

have you tried just cleaning the carb?
sounds like a jet could be clogged/gummed up

I'm so fucking ready for this week to be over and get two days off before leaving at 4am Monday for Podunk, IL. I'm expecting to rank up some serious OT and that is the only part that makes this trip any bit enjoyable.

Yes carbs have been fully cleaned and pulled apart.

Long story short, my mechanic didn't put buck the needle spacers and it ran terrible. I took it back to him 3 times it ran worse every time. I gave up and moved on and with a buddies help learned to everything about the carbs. We tuned it and it ran great on the low end but terrible high. Then we figured out the spacers were gone. Got new ones and now its just re-tuning the bike back.

The pilot air screws are not where they should be due to us trying to accommodate for the missing spacers at the time. I think that is the issue but I am also running a lot more leaner than I normally do with my jets. Since I don't have the tool to adjust the air screws I'm going to adjust the jets and see if it helps.

Moral of the story. Fuck carburetors.
