My daily driver is a double cab. Get creative, there's room if you're willing to work at it.

Work a bit higher, and remember that it's a 3" hole at most.

This is what I have so far with trying to retrofit a projector into my fog light.

Does anyone have a set of 35 watt ballasts laying around that they don't need?

You're definitely going to want to put them into some sort of housing. I would use the factory fogs and Retrofit those.

They are in the factory fog light housing but they stick out past where the lense would be. I'll try to get some better pictures of that. But they are sealed so they don't need to be enclosed

Those look pretty awesome. I do have 35w ballasts, but I'm selling them with my entire retro package.

As for the cover, just use some pvc or something that fits and silicon both sides to create a spacer so you have the cover over them... you don't wanna get pissed and chip the glass from a rock.

Fires are still permitted in fire rings in developed campgrounds. I just got back from camping. We had a fire. This was on Pinal Mountain at Pioneer Pass campground.

That is a really good idea. I will probably do that. I was going to cut a hole in the lense then let the projector sick thru it but then the glass on the projector is still exposed. I would also need to drill a hole or two for water to drain out if it wasn't water tight.

Its just like a projector on a headlight, except even more exposed. It should definitely be behind a lens. Atleast that's what i would do.

Yeah I plan on doing that now. Here are a couple shots of the cut off lines. The first one is before I took away the foreground limiter and the second one is after. I was only using a flashlight though so the light output isn't great

Installed in 45* weather. It was pouring the whole time and I spent most of the time on my back in cold puddles on my driveway. Lovely day!!!

We didnt even have a fire, it was just because we were shooting skeet. Its whatever though the ranger wasnt being a jerk about it he just has to enforce the rules and we were respectful so it went well. The timing was pretty funny too we packed up and as soon as we got in thevtrucks it started pouring so we drove out really fast in the rain on the slick wet roads :D
