Can't say I'm too happy with Firestone right now. Got an 'alignment' (if that's what they call it) and I pull just as harder to the right then when I brought it in. Also my steering wheel is cocked to the left and I made it very clear that I am OCD about having the wheel straight. I called the shop near me, the rack is broken. Called the next shop, No tech this week to do alignments. Called the shop I took it too and they argued that my truck may have a broken component causing the pull to the right. I told him it was a minor pull before I brought it in, and its worse. He said "Maybe you need new shocks or tires?". I said "that's why I brought it in, I put new shocks and tires on it".
Then he goes on about how they only set it to spec and if it still pulls it isn't their problem to deal with as the truck may be broken. Great, it's one of these shops......

    Chandler and Priest.

I'm going there in the morning to have them try again. Don't these dipshits test drive it when they are done? Hell driving to Phoenix yesterday on the freeway I can change 4 lanes in 3 seconds if I let go of the wheel. There is no way anyone drove it and said "yea this is good to go".

Having lowered cars all my life I understand that it can't always get perfect and shops will blame it being lowered. But when the truck is bone ass stock other than 2 shocks, they have no ground to stand on to argue with me that its the trucks fault.

According to the paper they gave me the numbers look good. I'm not sure why its pulling if these numbers are correct.

And it always pisses me off when they blame suspension. I had a CRX with a 3.5 inch drop all around, 0 camber issues or alignment issues. Took 3 techs to get it right, but it could be done.

Well if they dont fuck them. You have a lifetime alignment. Take it back every single day. And when you are picking it up. Tell them you would like to make an appointment for the next day and so on and so on.

That pic I posted of my civic all fucked up due to a ball joint that wasn't tightened after an alignment. Their fuck up set me back around $5000

    Network Alignment...

Won't ever go back there again.

    Pat,

I'm going to the one on Priest and Chandler and they are the ones giving me shit. Hope tomorrow goes better with them.

I like the way they look. They are quieter than the stock tires I had. Haven't had much of a chance to play with them yet so I can't really say if they are good for me just yet. Pretty sure they will do the truck.
