    It was pretty shitty. Around 10pm last night an owl decided that right in the middle of one of our live 69,000 volt substations was a good place for a late night snack. Needless to say, it got in between some energized stuff and the steel support structure in the sub, causing a subsequent massive short-circuit that BBQ'ed the owl, knocking 5,000 of our customers out and another 4500 on a different utility.

    Anyone have an annual Tonto pass and care to explain it to me? I had the Nat Park pass w/ inter. upgrade last year and went everywhere without a worry, but this year I have just been getting the day passes each time. I think it's a little silly though since I hit the lakes or river at least once a week. Is the Tonto pass just that, a pass? Or a decal like the National? The website info page won't download, I am just wondering if it's worth the hassle or if I should renew my Nat Pass.... Thanks. Oh, and good morning gents!
