The shackles the previous owner of the truck put on (made) are sketchy but they havent broken yet

If you can get another set of 5 lug springs, I bet we can fix that sag completely, without too much lift as a consequence. The front set of leafsprings on my Wrangler is combined from 3 different sets that I had laying around. They ride awesome, and haven't settled at all, which is what I had hoped for.

Also, I can either fab you a new set of shackles out of 3/8 steel flat bar, or rebuild those to make them less sketchy.

My soon-to-be fiance, Kyla, was looking at these pics and has named this T.F.S.S. Tacoma Flat Spring Syndrome

Was driving home today on the freeway and I start hearing slapping on my roof. Got home, looked on top and saw the seal at the top of the window is not really on lol.

    Yup! :D

Ill swe if I can find a set! Most of my lift comes from those shackles so a set of leaves that has some arch to them and some slightly shorter shackles could let me gain another inch or 2 which is all I would want for now. Hmmm

T.F.S.S. I like it haha. Congratulations btw!

Would it be worth getting them rebuilt/re arched? I know its not very expensive. This is all a learning experience for me lol
