You need to tell them to have their managers not do their job and play on TW all day. I know your secret :)

So I'm planning on getting a gun of some sort for my 21st in a couple weeks. I like the XDM for sure, but what are your guys opinions. I want something that's fun to shoot, but also not too big to carry camping and what not. Trying not to spend a fortune either, but want something quality...

I'd say go to a gun range and try out some guns. Ask other TW members if you can shoot their guns and try them out. What some people love, other people hate.

This! I loved my 1911 just not really concealable easily. My mom has a couple pistols and my all time favorite is her CZ 75. Smoothest 9 I've shot. Also has a compact kel tec pf9 that I hate because it's so small. All preference.

It's easy do it your self. You take off the gauge cluster and replace bulbs

I rented an XD at shooters world a while ago, it shot nice but it failed to eject the casing all the way 7 or 8 times. Also rented a G19 and it was flawless through 3 boxes of ammo. That's just my 1 experience with Springfield handguns though, tons of people love them and have no issues.

Find something that fits your hand well and you like shooting. Unless you're dead set on an auto look at revolvers too 357mag is super fun to shoot :D

I love my Khar K9 and I really like it. No issues but I've only put 100rds through it. It's heavy but easy to conceal still.

The Khar CM9 I had I loved too but it was stolen. Smaller, was a great gun. Easy to conceal.

I have had 4 Glocks, never liked any of them.

    LOVE 1911's! Josh's grandpa's 1911 is just pure sex.
