tech support: we will need you to be in at 7am for the tech to be able to enter your store and switch out somr hardware.
Me : ok sounds good.

Next day -
743 am tech still isnt here I could still be sleeping!


And now they are talking About canceling it for today. Ok so I just wastr d a bunch of time for nothing

This sounds like my job all the time. I wake up for meetings that get canceled 10 minutes after they were setup.

Yeah I like how they pretend its the first and last time it will happen. I just told my support that we will reschedule when I want to do it. He said no its going to be on monday. I said see if I show up.

I've been at the opposite side of this so many times. Setting appointments with retail managers that would show up over an hour late and then bitch that the work isn't done prior to the store opening.

 

They weren't happy and im sure I will get a phone call from my boss about it but fuck them.

Yeah im not saying its one sided at all. I wamt to say its more shitty scheduling and vindication between the 3 parties involved. But my company really low balls these contracts out so we get shitty techs. No one is on the same page and for some reason my support guys still think my store is around Phoenix (as in 25 min away) and they forget time changes. Just allot of crap they dont think about. over
