This is how I feel about my truck. I saved up from 2005 after my mom got a Tacoma with the new body style. I drove it and had to get one. 6 years of saving and I went and bought my truck. I'll never sell it and I love it to death.

Once I'm done with college this truck is going to be a project and I'll get another dd. That's when all the crazy stuff will start

Smart man! I can't tell you how many fun things I missed out on in HS/College by having to say "sorry but I'm working on my car tonight".

Having a solid DD and a custom build is the way to go. Might as well throw a motorcycle in the mix as well since you know you'll be working on the DD as well as the custom build haha. Happens every time.

This is true... But nah, my 4Runner will be with me til it dies. I love it too much.

I'll probably get a second vehicle though at some point.

    FTFY

There are so many memories with my truck too. It's only got 90k and its 10 years old. It's gonna keep going for a long long time

Probably LT unless I find a built pickup fit a good price. This thing is an almost perfect platform to start with

Hell yeah! I skipped part of senior week to put my lift in haha

And ditto on the motorcycle. I have one of those too and it's great on gas.

For me this is the first new vehicle I've owned. I always bought used, 1 to save money and 2 I didn't have any money. So I'll drive this truck until it dies or I die. And at the rate I'm feeling these days, my money is on the truck.

It's mostly because I don't make enough $ to support crazy mods right now and I don't have the skills or tools to take on any major projects. I can turn wrenches all day but no welding or fab skills what so ever.

There ya go! I agree, your truck is pretty solid to start off with. ;)

What have you planned for LT? Cuz I know you have thought about it. :D

I should have known to ask for a picture. Thats gnarly!

That's funny! The first motor I blew up was on the way to Cali to hang with friends. I had to call them and tell them I blew the motor up and won't be there.

Come to think of it, I've not made it to Cali 3 times now thanks to issues.
