This weekend I was possibly heading out west to 163rd and grand to get out.

 

It's definitely clean ! You should be able to talk them down tho and you're main point being it isn't 4WD . . .

 

The frame needs to be checked for rust. ball joints need to be checked, replaced around 150k miles. Water pump and timing belt need to be replaced at 90k miles. Other than that, just basic maintenence with fluids.

Edit: Could also use the water pump and timing belt to drop them. Parts around 300, labor depending on who does it, 300-1000.

Make sure nothing's major damage has been fixed without going on the carfax or whatever. Check all the panels, it would be faint but you can spot any that have been fixed and repainted. Make sure the suspension isn't super worn out, if it is that's something to help get the price down. Look for signs of water damage, if it's been flooded at any point run the other way. Pulling up a corner of the carpet is probably the easiest way to see.

haha thats funny. he has head sets in his helmets so they can talk so he cant hear shit.

yeah he has to right now, he got the shocks re valved once but they need a shit load more valving in them. hes sending them back again before new years.
he has hauled the mail through the woops a couple times.... it didnt end too well. LOL

yep! some of those things are soooo badass and on NOS. ive seen them start out of the woops and shoot a roost all the way to the bottom of the hill and get to the top in about 1 second. so sick. too bad those days are mostly gone

Sooo I tired to do my ABS kill last night but when I flip the switch no lights come on... nothing happens at all. Checked fuses and everything seems to be fine. Not really sure what to think at this point.

 

What directions are you following?

I'd say its either wired wrong, or maybe your switch doesn't work? It could be a loose connection.

 

Maybe the switch isn't working. it was a cheap one from autozone. Connections all look good.

okay so i found a front diff with the gears i need AND a air locker for cheap........ so i think im buying that if the guy gets back to me and im not parting my truck out and SASing it..... LOL. then ill just baby my truck and try and not blow another diff.

 

Well it is super basic that's for damn sure.

Try:

reversing the connections on the switch
check your connections. make sure something didn't get spliced or come loose

if those don't fix it try a new switch. If you need one to test I'm in chandler and I have grips of them.

Did you ground the switch? Seems like a silly question I know but the write up we followed didn't have that stated. When mine was finally working it lit up a few lights on the dash of features my truck doesn't have like a locker.
