I did not. pulled the negative off the battery, switched the wires,put it back on and it had a really rough start. So kinda quite after checking fuses and driving around for a bit to make sure everything was good. Double checked I got the right wire and pretty sure I did unless it's different on mine for some reason.

I had the same problem with a AutoZone switch. Didnt work right. Still doesnt. It picks when it wants to work and when it doesnt

 

Yeah I ended up eating then getting lazy and not wanting to go get a new one. I probably will after work today.


Also what's the best laptop/chrome book whatever out there for under around 250? Getting it for my GF for Christmas.

 

Depends what she wants to do with it. For a couch cruiser/take on the road laptop. I love my Chromebook Acer 32gb touchscreen. However it runs Chrome OS, which does not install .exe like windows, .apks like Android, or anything else other than chrome extensions.

Basically get the chrome browser and start playing in the app store. Whatever you can do on the chrome browser is what you can do on the Chromebook. It's limited in ways, but I've found a work around for almost everything I do. I tend to use my Chromebook more than my 2013 Macbook Pro that's fully loaded.

If you wanna try one out you can test my Acer Chromebook out. Also might be able to figure out your switch issue at the same time.

I do use the touch screen a lot. I didn't think I would but it was the same price as the non-touch version. Turns out I use it more than I thought I would.

Best buy has them on display most of them time. They have the chromebook2's now, better screen (LED as well) and a bit more power. Side by side its hard to tell other than the screen resolution.
