No a bunch of dirt spilled into the mall parking lot the other day. Almost put it in 4x4.

 

the front diff is for the taco!!!! i scored it on TTORA
the rhino i got on craigslist.

and yeah the winner of KOH has ifs...... but do you know how much just in the front diff and CV axels they have invested? im talking 30k JUST for the front diff and cvs. maybe add steering in there too..

i meant IFS without dumping 30k into it cant hard core rock crawl without breaking all the time

 

Like he said, IFS can and does work. It just takes a different level of money. A lot more than I see put into rigs here in the BS thread.

My buddy had an 86 and you had to take the entire head off to get to the spark plugs to change them. Was the 85.5 the same way?

 

Would of been the same engine in the US. The 5M-GE then the 7m when they needed more power in 86 with the heavier design change. Never heard of the problem your friend had..

I absolutely hate mud!!!

I like water crossings except when I flood my truck. Now whenever I cross any substantial amount water, I get error codes for the next day or so

 

Yeah, but we don't talk about that. I was trying to be nice and get out of the way. That didn't end well. Then I had it in park when I was getting pulled up. Not good either.

But hey, it's not an epic trip unless Brian gets stuck.

 

The only time that I hate mud is when my dickhead friend with his two wheel drive liberty and no mud flaps is in front of me and covers the front and top of my truck in mud and scratches the everloving shit out of my windshield..

 

I hope you keep the recovery gear handy for those situations.

There was revving the engine and steering too. It was pretty funny. On the bright side a second gen can tow another second gen while its in park

 

The time of the year is the best. All of the companies we work with bring a bunch of food and sweets. Today we got a big meat, cheese and cracker box with summer sausage and like 5 different types of cheese.
