    I dont know how to weld.. :( thats what happens when you go to the smallest school on the planet. Welding might be easier tho.. and look cleaner. Two peices of steel or something? Let's do It sunday. Or Saturday evening.

    I can :D My mig isn't set up for aluminum though so we have to use steel but yeah its no problem, If you want to get scrap metal ill teach you too

    Hmmm, so.. should I bolt the steel to the aluminum, then weld the steel to the brace? Or just make a whole new light bar?

    I tried to learn.. our shop/ag class wasn't the greatest. The tools were old and didn't work. Not enough students to actually make a shop class.. so it was like 95% ag, and 5% shop.. but the shop was horrible. we made a clock from wood. That's it. Lol.

    Mmm I dont think you should weld anythin to your truck, lets just notch out the bar you have so it fits around your hood latch, then drill some holes and bolt up another aluminum bar for support
