Looks good. How was the ride before the bumper?

 

You could definitely feel the road but it wasn't anything to terrible after the shocks broke in. After the bumper it rides a lot nicer, still a bit firm but I like it a lot. Definitely better than stock!

 

I've been trying to decide what coils I want.. I don't have any plans in the next few years to add anything crazy. I don't want a rake or anything with the leaf pack though. That's why I wanna go with longer coils if possible.

Yeah man it was crazy.. And I cant believe I completely tore his bumper off his frame.. It was funny as hell, especially out comes some big ass truck as I pulled him out. Definitely a fun trip... Cant wait for the mud lol

 

The 882 coils are longer then the 883 and 881 coils. 882 and 881 have the same spring rate. I know some people run 882 coils with plate bumpers and they ride the same as 881 but are just a bit taller.

With my dakars and 883 coils without a plate bumper I was dead even. Then with the plate bumper I'm sitting at exactly .5 rake.

There are also Jeep Jk 10mm spacers you can run to combat rake.

I had the dakars with the AAL because I have a plate rear bumper. Recently took out the AAL because i had like 2" of rake haha.

For the first couple of days they rode terribly, then after about a week or so they settled and then rode really nice, absolutely no complaints. I haven't had a chance to load it up yet but I'm sure it would do great with weight. Also, I still need to go off road and flex it out but so far so good!

I went with the dakars because I think I read somewhere that the OME rear shocks are specifically designed to work with the dakar pack and I just wanted to keep the brands the same and not mix and match.

I have not done enough research with the all pro standards or expo packs to comment about them though.

 

That's good info. From my understanding the standards are more flex than dakars, but don't hold a bunch of extra weight. I don't plan on carrying a ton of extra right now besides like camping.

Also, I plan on some icons in the rear anyways.
