I think you're taking criticism of a business that isn't even yours way too seriously - and you can probably expect people to poke at you like beeler did just for shits if you're going to get this defensive every time.

No one is saying that Brandon intentionally disregards emails or anything. I've lurked on here for years and I have seen enough posts about trying to get in touch with Avid to notice the trend. Running a business on your own is hard as fuck, no doubts. Trying to crank out the volume of work he does, AND handle all the customer support would be hard for anyone to manage. The only point anyone's tried to make was that "shit slips through the cracks" because he's busy. Just because he got back to those people eventually doesn't mean that it was timely, and that's all beeler was trying to give examples of.

As a business, the quality of your communication can be as important as the quality of your work. Good example: There's no contact information at all on his new website unless you dig deep into the "customer service" link at the bottom, and then it's just an email address to ask questions about the privacy policy.

 

I promote and recommend businesses that deserve it. I do it for SDHQ, Discount Tire (even after issues) and many others. I am one to write letters of appreciation as well as letters of opportunity.

Moving to AZ in the next month, going to be in temp housing down in Tubac for 60-90 days, then will likely be buying up in the Sahuarita area.

Figured Id stop in and say hi

 

There is some nice real estate down in Tubac if you have the money, I have had a couple friends buy a house in Sahuarita becuase you can get the best bang for your buck and commute to Tucson.

 

Tubac is nice, but my wife likes Sahuarita more because of the parks/kid activities. I will be commuting the other way, heading south to Mehico everyday.

Anyone have any recommendations or personal preference of UCA's they would purchase? I am not looking at anything ridiculous as my truck is a daily driver and putting them on to keep from damaging my suspension if I happen to wheel hard (like running over Zombies).
