I understand what your saying, but people who travel a lot can utilize a light bar for driving at night on highways/ back country roads etc.....if i would hae gotten a car i would have put a led bar in the grill or something for when i go to my cabin where theres a lot of elk etc

Not going to lie. My old roof bar was The most useless POS I owned lol.

But my new rigid amber and 2 duallys with the China bar put out the best lighting close and far!

For one, when I mentioned light bar, I was referring to my Nfab light bar that actually holds LED lights. Secondly, I am with these guys, they serve a purpose. I use my truck for hunting more than anything, and to have some auxiliary lights that have some power when I am out in the woods is nice to have. Sure I won't put ten sets of LED lights on my truck, but a few to light things up at night, sure.

Same.. which is why I didn't spend the ridiculous 1000k+ for one. Its one of those "would rather have it , and not need it, than need it, and not have it" type of things.

I've used it maybe twice realistically. It is nice to have the extra lighting when needed. I would never spend more than what I did tho.. hell.. even what I paid is too much at times. Lol

    Huh

See.. 200 bucks for some 3"x3" lights are crazy to me. For often you really use em.

The gas mileage thing.. meh.. I don't believe that. Mine hasn't changed since it. The wind noise.. who cares. We drive modified vehicles.. some with louder more prominent noises than a whistle. The glare.. if its aimed properly and it has decent optics your not gonna have that much. Especially in a spot pattern.. which should be the only pattern for an LED anyways IMO.

Would rather have it up out of the way, from rocks especially.. and out from behind anything.. plus..

Yeah.. I think it looks sweet. :D

In the end, its all personal preference.

I will be adding some amber's to the Hood eventually tho. That's the most useable light anyways. The roof bar is just when I need extra light. Either hunting, camping, and rural roads up north (the 2 times used)

I thought you have a 50" light bar on your truck that is $1000 no?

No I'm not worried about you singling me out dude. I agree, seeing these pristine jeeps that have never been off of pavement crack me up. I have $200 dollars worth of LED lights and that is it so far. I will see if they suffice offroad at night, and if not, I will add two more and call it good.

Then it must be from China?

I haven't heard that many bad things about the Chinese bars. Sure you might not get a lifetime warranty, but who cares if you can buy three for the price of one Rigid right?

Not necessarily.. I dont want to limit my cooling, especially with the intercooler, pretty sure it wouldn't even fit back there with it. Again, rocks are an issue, and I don't have a bumper to mount it to.

Well, Idk what to tell ya, but my gas mileage has been the same shitty gas mileage before and after the light bar. Lol

I had the whole lights behind the grill setup. they sucked. Again.. Personal preference.

    That what i think.

Im looking to get a 22" light bar.

Rigid industry has them for $700

I can get one online with an IP68 rating fro $85, dont really know the quality but I could but 7 LED bars for the price of one rigid industry.

Not necessarily from China.. and even then. All the internal parts for all bars are from China.. they are just assembled in the US.. and the optics are designed and created here. (Rigid)

I have a warranty.. but yes.. for the amount I use it.. and knew I would use it.. 500 for a bar is still pushing the limit. I would hate myself and would ask you all to punch me in the dick if I spent 1k+ on a bar I've used twice. Lol

    I hear ya.

If these Duallys don't produce what I need offroad, then I am considering a 10" E series combo bar that MSRP's for $399 paired with the Duallys, but I am sure I can find it elsewhere for cheaper.

HAHAHAH. Well yeah when I refer to China bars I am referring to the cheaper bars as opposed to Rigid because I don't think anything is more expensive than them when it comes to LED's.
