anyone done rock lights? I'm thinking about installing some that can light up with a switch but also light up when you unlock the truck. Would that be difficult to do?

 

Yeah, Rock Lights are awesome.

Do any interior lights come on when you unlock? If so, could tap into that parallel to the switch.

 

yeah, just the dome light. Would I have to install a special switch like my dome light has (on/off/door) or could I still run a on/off switch?

This was almost worth working;

 

Either way.

SPDT (On/Off/Door) would have 3 terminals 12v source, to the rock lights, and feed from dome light

SPST (On/Off) would splice output of the switch and dome light circuit together. This would not have the option to keep them off when opening the doors.

Depending on type and number of rock lights would determine if a relay is needed.

 

Anyone have a torque wrench I could borrow? Looking to change my spark plugs. Thanks!

Saturday nights were supposed to be fun and exciting haha I must be a boring person

Saw this guy last night while I was running, didn't even know they were around here. The things you see while running at 2am lol

 

Out climbing last week i walked right past a rattlesnake. My leg was maybe a foot from where he was coiled up next to a bush. That was a little freaky

 

As it gets warming and I start doing more night runs, I can literally come across a dozen rattlesnakes while on one run depending on what trails I do. Common sense and not trying to screw with them, and you're usually fine.
