    AutoCAD is cake. Learned that my sophomore year in high school 15 years ago. It's boring to me compared to 3D modeling programs like Solidworks. Don't know BIM, or Reddit though.

    MATLAB is one of many analysis tools and makes you more marketable. ACAD is another one of those mechanical engineer ones to know. I support these softwares.

    I hate matlab as well. But that is because I haven't taken the course for it. I've just been thrown into it with diff eq. Autocad is cake. I haven't taken it in a while, but I helped some kid the other day that is in the class and knew more than him.
