Except the shitty armor and leafs. It's also the less popular version of the supercharger painted black.

Seriously, WTF? This rig is bad ass and who says you need to keep the 3.4? Swap in a Cummings after it blows up. The point with this rig is that it's clean as fuck for 10k.

Its a Cummins. There is no "G". that's like referring to nitrous as NOS. It makes one sound uneducated and uninformed.

Question for the crew here. Had to finally do timing belt. Decided to take it to a shop, too hot for me to do now. I went 120k at least on the belts :) bought the truck with 70k. 190 now so I can only assume it wasnt the orig belt. So all belts, rad hoses and new spring clamps, valve cover gaskets and all the plug seals, and timing belt kit, water pump, etc. What do you think an acceptable cost would be for that all done at a shop?

I think it would have taken me the better part of a day to do it, sweating my nuts off and probably breaking something or running into somethjng unforseen and then take all weekend.

    Don't encourage him!

Back from Mexico! Down and back isn't the funnest thing in the world, but I didn't get lost in Hermosillo this time, bonus! My 4 year old daughter was an awesome copilot. Saw tons of 2nd Gens on the road and only on Hilux. Don't have to go back until October, but the wifey will be with me. Although I forgot to get a case of New Mix, damnit.

Starting to really figure out the boarder in Mariposa, so this is getting to be a smooth run. Maybe have another year or two before my parents decide to do something else and don't need me to taxi them and their stuff to/from San Carlos twice a year. I will continue to enjoy it while I can.

I really wasn't in the mood to battle him over proper spelling of Cummins because my auto correct doesn't know the difference. A simple FTFY works in most cases but in this one apparently deserved a more douche bag answer.

    For future reference
    Cummins=

Sorry. After owning one for a while and also doing many industrial installs, its high on my list of pet peeves
