It was Simmons 4x4. Guy did a really through job tracking down the vibs in my truck, a new carrier bearing and driveshaft balance helped, but it seems like there is something else too. Cost $270 for parts and labor.

 

Haha that's the place I'd go if I take it in. Good to have recommendations from multiple people!

 

Not a bad price considering the bearing is around 80 and it takes about 2 hours

Cool. And good. I was wondering how I was going to find you if I didnt hear from you. Did you go down backwards aswell?

 

I'll have to take you to where I was so you can laugh. I did have to climb up the trail in reverse for about 1/4 mile before I was able to turn around. I swear I was getting better traction in reverse.

 

I think I possibly found my wicked hard vibration on my back right. Thought possibly it might be a fucked tire. Nope I'm pretty sure my u-bolts on the axle shouldn't wiggle, unless the vibration caused them to do that?

 

If that's the case torque everything on the rear suspension.

I checked the driver side rear and they are solid. All my vibrations has come on the left or back left. I gotta go rent one, let someone borrow mine and it got "lost"

Ha thanks man! I appreciate it. We've got an orielly auto down the street that rents tools. Just gonna hit them up later.

 

Good news. Got the back right ubolts torque down to spec and so far there hasn't been that gnarly vibration I was talking about. Steering wheel still shakes just a little but that could be an alignment issue. In the pic you can see how far I had to torque down to get it to spec. I'm grateful I checked it when I did and it didn't go out at 75+mph on I10 with my family in it.
