Like spray paint? Cause I've tried that and it still peels pretty easy. Although now that I think about it. That was over chrome.

I did my wheels a few weeks ago, but I did it right. Lots of prep and time under our sun to dry. I had the mounted, balanced and even was off road this last weekend with no scratches.

I know they will scratch eventually, but easily fixed

I would suggest removing the wheels, deflating the tires, shoving note cards between the rubber and wheel when its time to paint.
Simple green is a great cleaner combined with a good course sponge. You can scratch the surface with a scotch pad as well. I did 2.5 cans of paint on mine over the course of a morning from 6am to 10am. I let them sit in the direct sun the rest of the day and carefully rotated the wheels every few hours. Beware, those fuckers get hot in the sun

Any fellow Tucsonans enjoying this lightning storm? The rain hasn't hit my area yet, but this is way better than any fireworks display!

Didn't need to do it completely, just where the wheel is visable

today was not my day. started shitty.
ate shit on the metal grates at work which have a rougher texture sand paper, fucked my knees. then it started to pour and i was on my bike, then i realized i drove home on a flat on the bike from a nail. got it patched and it still leaks a tiny bit.

but a good thing from today, i got my new helmet!!

That's shitty. Aren't motorcycle tires pretty cheap though? Sounds like a good opportunity.
